Itinerary

Day1

The Bund Get together at the Beijing airport then take the morning flight to Shanghai. In the morning you will visit the Bund, the Bund its name is Anglo-Indian and literally means ‘muddy embankment’ which extends from Jinling Road in the south to the Waibaidu Bridge over the Suzhou Creek in the north, the whole project of the cleanup of the Suzhou Creek is estimated to cost 20 billion yuan or 2.42 billion US dollar and by 2010 hopefully the river will once again be clean enough to encourage marine life back to the area, is on the western bank of the 114 kilometer long Hangpu River, a branch of the Yangtze River.
Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower stands opposite to the bund on the west bank, it was completed on Oct. 1, 1994. It is 468 m high, being the highest in Asia and the third highest in the world, only next the TV towers in Toronto in Canada and Moscow in Russia.
Children's Palace The Children Palaces is one of the most famous and is basically designed for children to study and practice the arts after school. Today, talented children attend and learn to dance and sing, the theater, play folk or Western musical instruments, Wushu, ballet, computer science as well as other art skill. Many programs evolved to provide after-school classes for gifted and talented children in various arts. Some of the programs offer additional science and math as well.

Yu Garden Yu Garden, a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, has its long been repute for over 400 years. Built nearby the Temple of the City God and covering only fives acres, Yu Garden follows the Suzhou garden design of a world in microcosm, with 30 pavilions linked by corridors, artificial hills, bridges over lotus pools, groves of bamboo and walls occupied by stone dragons.
