Itinerary:

Day1 Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to
hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore
the city.

Day 2 Beijing (BLD)
Full day sightseeing tours include Tian'anmen
Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing (BLD )
Full day excursion to the Great Wall, Ming Tombs.
Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

Day4 Chengdu/Lhasa (B)
Fly to Chengdu then Lhasa, be met at Lhasa airport
and transferred to hotel in Lhasa. The rest of the
day is on your own to explore the city.

Day5 Lhasa (BLD)
Today we will visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and
Barkhor Street.

Day6 Yangbajing (BLD)
Drive to Yangbajin which is the largest earth thermal
power station in Tibet, enjoy a outdoor hot spring
bath. Come back to Lhasa in the evening.

Day7 Lhasa (BLD)
Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery.

Day8 Chengdu/Beijing (BLD)
Transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu then
Beijing.
Visit Lama Temple and Hutong Tour.

Day9 Beijing (B)
Leave Beijing and services end.

Tips:

1. China Visa
A tourist visa, is marked with "L" in the many kinds of Chinese visas. Visa L is characterized by a short duration of stay, usually 30 days, no more than 90 days, and could not be extended upon expiration.

Group visa, another kind of tourist visa, is applied by foreigner traveling in tour groups. Group visa is not issued on the passports, but on a separate paper, which requires the group members enter and exit the Chinese border together.

2. Tibet Entry Permit ( TTB Permit)
It is called TTB permit, issued by the Tibet Tourism Bureau (TTB). You need it to issue the flights tickets or train to Lhasa and pass the checking point. You need the TTB permit when you travel overland, too.

3. Alien's Travel Permit( Tibet Travel Permit)
It is called PSB permit, issued by the Public Security Bureau (PSB). You need it when you travel out of Lhasa area, such as Tsedang, Gyantse, Nyingchi, Mt.Everest...

4.Rest right after your arrival. You should not do anything strenuous on the first day. Brisk walking and running are not advised. We suggest that you do not smoke nor drink alcohol too. Do not eat too much for dinner.
