In 1846,Richard Restanrant,a Barlork style building stood spectacularly in shanghai bund near Wangpoo river. The hotel moved to Whales Bridge(today's Garden bridge)in 1857. In 1907,the hotel was extended to an England new classical style building.After the foundation of the People's Republic of China,Richard Restaurant was renovated several times to become more attractive.

Our rooms are decorated in Barloke style ov Victoria times in 19th century,they are very spaciousand bright with comfortable enviroment.Each room has big sanitary place and satellite Tv,IDT/DDT,air conditioner and other modern equipments.
